Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with Minister of Health of Montenegro Jelena Borovinic Bojovic about bilateral relations and the continuation of cooperation in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brnabic pointed out that Serbia has shown in the previous period that it is ready to provide the necessary assistance to its neighbours in the fight against coronavirus, and that the government of Serbia will continue to make efforts to jointly overcome this crisis.

Speaking about bilateral relations, the Prime Minister said that Serbia's fundamental effort is to make them as close and meaningful as possible, and to intensify the political dialogue.

Borovinic Bojovic expressed her gratitude to President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Brnabic and the citizens of Serbia for their support in the campaign of vaccinating the population in Montenegro.

The Minister pointed out the necessity of continuing and deepening cooperation in this area and emphasized Montenegro's commitment to developing bilateral relations with Serbia to the best possible level.

She also said that preparations for the tourist season are largely underway and that her proposal will be that Serbian citizens can enter the country without restrictions and tests.
