Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selakovic received today the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Elektroprivreda Crne Gore” Milutin Djukanovic.

Djukanovic informed Minister Selakovic about the results of his several-day visit to Belgrade, during which he met with members of the Serbian Government, the management of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia and of the Jaroslav Cerni Water Institute

The collocutors discussed opportunities for deepening the economic cooperation between Serbia and Montenegro, with a special emphasis on energy.

Djukanovic emphasized the compatibility of Serbia’s and Montenegro's energy systems and the importance of regional system connectivity, while paying attention to energy security.

Selakovic and Djukanovic addressed in particular the need for joint planning and investment in renewable energy sources, emphasizing the importance of joint and coordinated action on the basis of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, which was established within the Berlin Process.
